New leaked photos of the MG Hector Facelift: Dhak Suv is coming to end XUV700 and Harrier’s reign, photos leaked ahead of launch. The main volume generator for MG Motor in the Indian market is the Hector SUV, the new updated version of which is about to be launched. This will be the second update for the Hector. Earlier it was also updated in 2021. The SUV was first launched in India in 2019. Since then, it has remained the best-selling SUV for the company in India. Now the updated version is expected to get ADAS which will make it compete with cars like Mahindra XUV700, Tata Harrier and Hyundai Alcazar.

However, these updates will lead to an increase in the prices of the Hector. In such a situation, the company will continue to sell the 2021 model along with the MG facelift version. However, if demand for the old model is low, the decision to discontinue it can be made later. As of now, photos of the front have leaked, suggesting that one of the major updates for the 2023 Hector facelift will be the diamond mesh grille, which will replace the current trapezoidal studded grille. The top-mounted LED daytime running lights remain the same, while the headlights and front bumper have been slightly modified.

Know what the new MG Hector SUV is
There is no major change in the side and rear profile. The interior has been upgraded with a fresh double-layer dashboard. It gets a large 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with i-Smart connectivity. Taking into account the better safety, the Hector facelift is expected to get the ADAS function in 2023. It can get features like blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, reversing assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, intelligent headlight control and speed assistance system.
