Today a major action has been taken in the scam related to the Karnataka Police Recruitment Investigation (Karnataka PSI Scam). Central investigation agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) today raided 11 places, including Bengaluru and Patiala, and seized many important documents. In this case, additional director general of police, Shantakumar and other properties were searched and important information was collected.

According to an ANI report, the Enforcement Directorate searched the homes of IPS Amrit Paul (formerly ADG Recruitment Cell) and others allegedly involved in the PSI Recruitment 2021 scam at 11 sites in Bengaluru and Patiala on Nov. 10, leading to various incriminating documents. The seizure took place and a major action has now been taken by the Enforcement Directorate.

Let us tell you that the Karnataka Police Recruitment Cell conducted a survey in 2021 to fill 545 PSI vacancies in the Karnataka Police Force. At the same time, after the results of this investigation came in, there were allegations of cheating, corrupt practices in the investigation, and there was also a great deal of controversy. As a result, the Karnataka government later ordered an investigation. In such a situation, the Enforcement Directorate is now taking swift action in the state.
