India’s cheapest electric car PMV Electric EaS-E launched in just Rs 2000 book price just 5 lakhs Mumbai based EV start-up PMV Electric has recently launched microcar PMV Electric EaS-E. It is an electric car with a starting price of Rs 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the cheapest electric car in the personal mobility vehicle segment in India. However, it is not a pure passenger car. It can be called a four-wheeler.

Where is it booked?

You can book it by visiting the company’s official website. For this, you have to pay a token amount of Rs 2,000. The company has started taking pre-orders of PMV Electric EaS-E. Any customer can book it for just Rs 2,000. PMV says it has received more than 6,000 pre-orders from India and international markets. The Eas-E will be manufactured at the company’s factory in Pune. PMV aims to start deliveries by mid-2023. In addition, a warranty of 3 years / 50,000 km is provided.

Characteristics

Talking about the features, 4G connectivity will be available in it so that you can connect your smartphone to the car. The brommobiel is a two-seater four-wheeler with only the driver’s seat in the front. Behind it is a passenger seat. But even then the PMV EAS-E has four doors, so that two people can enter from both sides. PMV has announced that the Eas-E will have a 48V lithium-iron-phosphate battery. PMV claims the Eas-E can be charged in less than four hours.

There are three range options in this microcar, namely 120 km, 160 km and 200 km. PMV says the operating costs of the EAS-e will be less than 75 paise per km. It gets an IP67 rated motor. Its engine can deliver a power of 13 hp and 50 Nm. It will be front-wheel drive. PMV claims that the Eas-E can go from 0 to 40 km/h in less than 5 seconds. The top speed will be 70 km/h.
