Letter written to Haryana Government regarding the removal of the model code of conduct in 18 districts. A senior election official said on Wednesday that a letter has been written to the Haryana government regarding the removal of the model code of conduct in those 18 districts on November 16. Where the elections for Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) are completed, the model code of conduct should be removed. Haryana State Election Commissioner Dhanpat Singh said that with the removal of the model code of conduct, development and administrative work in these 18 districts would start smoothly.

Dhanpat Singh issued an official statement

In an official statement here, Dhanpat Singh said that the model code of conduct will be imposed in districts like Faridabad, Palwal, Hisar and Fatehabad on November 22 and 25 due to PRI elections. A letter has been written to the Chief Secretary so that development and administrative work can be done. Elections have already been held in these districts.
